Six-word movie review: The Invention of Lying (2009)

Sad, wistful, yet funny. Typical Gervais.

Six-word movie review: Bananas (1971)

Reminiscent of Pauly Shore's early work.

Six-Word Movie Reviews, a weekend's worth

Whatever Works (2009): Entropy, narcissism defeat transformative love. Delightful!

Lord of War (2005): Surprisingly restrained, bleak, postmodern anti-parable.

The Apartment (1960): Romantic comedies used to be GRIM.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998): It got weird enough for me.

Where The Buffalo Roam (1980): Thompson neutered by schlocky 80s directing.

The Florentine (1999): Sappy gangster flicks exist! They shouldn't.
